After successfully testing  VUALTO DRM (VUDRM) at the Eurovision Song Content 2018, Portuguese National Broadcasters, Rádio e Televisão de Portugal (RTP) has contracted VUALTO to provide DRM services for the RTP Play service.

RTP were the host broadcaster of the Eurovision Song Contest, broadcasting to hundreds of thousands of viewers on the night. The RTP Play Streaming Service provides access to high quality viewing of live and on-demand RTP channels and radio stations across all devices.

This project also marks the first collaboration between VUALTO and Radiant Media Player. Radiant Media Player is a Native HTML5 player supporting multiple codecs, HLS and MPEG-DASH. It is feature rich with extensive ad integration that includes an Ad Scheduler, a built in waterfalling solution and server side ad insertion. Radiant Media Player now has full support for VUDRM.

Our DRM services are delivered as part of the VUDRM framework which is a collection of ready made components that integrate with existing Broadcast Workflows, to deliver multi-vendor Content Protection. This service is highly scalable, serving thousands of licences per minute. VUDRM is used by leading Broadcasters across Europe and the US.
